About Erin
Erin Barnett has been licensed to practice law since 2002, as a former state prosecutor and lead trial attorney. While serving as a prosecutor, Erin was a member of the DUI Manslaughter Squad and gained experience in the following divisions: Traffic Court, Domestic Violence, Child Abuse, Adult Misdemeanor, and Adult Felony. Erin's extensive and focused experience allows her to serve her clients with confidence and compassion. Erin has earned an AV Preeminent Rating and is a former Adjunct Professor at St. Petersburg College's Police and Corrections Academy. Erin has also served as an Attorney Ad Litem for Children with Special Needs in dependency cases since 2014.
Erin earned her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law and her Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Political Science from Florida Southern College.
Active in the legal community, Erin has served as the St. Petersburg Bar Foundation Trustee, past Chair of the St. Petersburg Bar Association's Family Law Section, and earned the 6th Judicial Circuit's prestigious Attorney Pro Bono Award as well as the Law Firm Pro Bono Award.
